Returns Policy


We acknowledge that the sale of items online can be a tricky process when you aren’t able to physically see them, which is why we offer free returns on any goods that need a replacement size, style or other variant within the UK mainland. If you are unhappy with the sizing, fit, colour or other variation of an item that you have purchased, let us know and we shall arrange to have the item collected at your convenience and a replacement delivered to you.

In accordance with distance selling trading laws, complete and partial refunds are offered on all returns that we (Cornerstone Supplies Ltd t/a Abbeydale Direct) are notified of within 28 days of delivery date. Notification of a return shall be done by either email or telephone. Upon receiving notice of a return, Abbeydale Direct shall issue a returns address for goods to be returned to. Goods should be returned by the customer within a further 14 days to be refunded. Please note that during the months of November and December, we offer an extended return period for Christmas gifts to be returned or exchanged. Should your purchase in November or December fall outside of our standard 28 days, you have until the 5th of January to notify us of any returns you wish to make.

Goods that require a replacement variant as opposed to a refund are collected and re-delivered without any additional charge to the consumer. Variations can include size, colour and style, however each request for a replacement is dealt with on an individual basis. In some cases the retail price of a replacement item will differ to the original purchased item, in these instances additional charges or a partial refund will apply to the new transaction.

Regrettably, any goods returned that show visible signs of use, wear or are otherwise unsaleable, will be deemed to have been accepted by the customer and therefore no longer eligible for replacement, refund or credit. This includes but is not limited to excessive marking, dirt or wear related damage. To avoid disappointment, please ensure that you are happy with your purchase before use. In the event of an item being returned and rejected we shall arrange to have the item re-delivered to you at no extra cost.

If an item is suspected to have suffered from a manufacturing fault within 6 months of the delivery date, we will offer a repair or replacement of the item in accordance with trading law. If an item has failed or suffered damage due to misuse or excessive wear and tear, we reserve the right to refuse refund or replacement. Items that are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty will be repaired or replaced in accordance with the terms set out by the manufacturer.
