Shoof Hoof Mats
Hoofmat is now accepted as one of the most appropriate methods for treatment of lameness in cattle. The main significant reason why Hoofmat treatment is so much more effective, is you are able to place the mat at the entrance of the milking area. Hoofmat is 1.8m long x 0.9m wide, holds 25L of remedy and will last over 100,000 cow passes. The Shoof Hoofmat envelope fits any model of hoofmat. Primary purpose of the envelope is to retain liquid in the hoofmat for periods longer than the duration of one milking of the herd. Where herd sizes are very small, it may be possible to leave the hoofmat in place for several days, by using the envelope.
