A personal note

One of the delights of running your own business is the ability to make decisions - hopefully the right ones! After almost 11 years of running Abbeydale Direct one of my favourite roles is choosing which products to sell. Behind the scenes we discuss, source and reject numerous products until we settle on the best available in its field.

This catalogue on the website is the result of 12 months searching, rejecting and finally stocking a range of grass seed, minerals, milk powders & feed which all meet our high criteria.

Those of you who remember my business in its early days will marvel, as I do, at just how far we've come.

The highlight of 2007 was the moment I became AMTRA qualified and able to sell animal medicines & wormers -fantastic! Even nicer was the sharing the moment with a customer who brought in champagne!

These are incredibly exciting times for Abbeydale - I still enjoy my job, love talking to farmers and, after a few faltering steps, now have the most supportive and first class team working with me that I could wish for.

Many of you are more like friends after years of conversations on the phone and meeting at shows. A huge thank you to you all for your suggestions, friendship and above all your support.
